      DESCRIPTION
      The SMC Assaulter Panel grants the user additional rifle magazine and utility pouches on the back of their carrier, so their squadmates can quickly access an ammo resupply, grenades, detcord, or even a claymore. The ammo pouches have adjustable closure flaps that can each accommodate rifle magazines from 30-40 round 5.56 and 7.62 AK magazines, as well as multiple grenade types like smoke, flashbangs, and anti-structural devices. These pouches are permanently sewn onto this panel but are highly versatile. Open the thru pocket to accommodate longer items like bolt cutters or a hydration bladder.


      A small quantity of MultiCam pattern SMC Assaulter Panels was made at our US manufacturing facility for a contract, these panels lack the hook-backed panel that our current TAA-compliant SMC Assaulter Panels have. This feature does not affect function or inhibit the user from securing the panel to MOLLE webbing via the PALS retention straps.

      MIL-SPEC QUICK RELEASE CUMMERBUND

      Take your Plate Carrier to the Next Level

      The Rapid Disconnect Cummerbund was designed with the direct input of several Military and Law Enforcement units with the purpose to rapidly disconnect and connect your plate carrier.  We wanted to maintain the function of our MOLLE cummerbund but allow a rapid disconnect feature.  The rapid disconnect cummerbund utilizes our Rapid Disconnect System (RDS) for quick detach, featuring 3 rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing to attach your pouches or side plates.

      Our RDC cummerbund also features an internal pocket for our soft armor (Armor Sold Separately).  We designed the RDC cummerbund with 2 sizes allowing a very versatile sizing design.  The RDC cummerbund is compatible with our MEAC and LOPC Plate Carriers along with most other carriers on the market.

      To size yourself properly measure approx. 2 finger lengths above your belly button.

      The Armored Republic Cummerbund Kit is designed to add storage and side armor capability to plate carriers.

      The Cummerbund Kit from Armored Republic integrates seamlessly with plate carriers that have a flap pocket on the backside and Velcro on the front. The kit consists of two components: the front admin flap and the cummerbund itself.

      The front flap is optional and only needed for carriers that do not have a cummerbund flap. For carriers that have a cummerbund flap, the cummerbund is the only needed item.

      The cummerbund kit can work with most other plate carriers on the market.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      • Is a cummerbund necessary to have on a plate carrier? No, but a cummerbund can be helpful to have if you're wanting a more comfortable or secure fit, extra side protection, and extra storage. Depending on your individual needs, using a cummerbund may be more practical or preferable to using a dedicated side buckle type carrier. 
      • What is a cummerbund on a plate carrier? A cummerbund gets its name from the tuxedo accessory- by the same name. However, unlike this accessory, a cummerbund is a stabilization band that helps keep your plate carriers armor concentric to your vital organs. In addition to this, they may also allow the mounting of side armor and external MOLLE-type pouches. Most cummerbunds are adjusted on the back side of the plate carrier. These adjustments ultimately determine how well your carrier fits to your body so make sure your carrier's cummerbund is adjusted properly.

      Our Armored Republic Shoulder Pads offer additional padding where it's needed most while maintaining a thin and low profile.

      Constructed from 500D Nylon we use a durable wrap-around Velcro closure flap to secure the shoulder pad in place. Our padded mesh fabric is both antimicrobial and moisture-wicking to improve comfort and airflow. Two modular straps act as guides or attachment points for accessories such as radios, hydration tubes, and/or Grimlock's and D-Rings. Compatible with up to 2" shoulder straps.
